Early Intervention and Special Education Services
Offering coordinated services to children and students with disabilities, birth through 21, and their families with the goal of closing existing gaps between children with disabilities and their non-disabled peers. Our bold vision is that all students, including students with disabilities, will be ready for school, achieve in school, and be prepared for college, career, and community living.
Partners for Success
Partners for Success, a partnership between the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and the St. Mary’s County Public Schools (SMCPS), provides services designed to inform families and build working relationships among families, schools, and the community.
The services the Partners for Success center may provide include:
- Special education resources
- Information and referral
- Assistance with IEPs
- Seminars and workshops
- Consultation
- Lending library
- Information about local state and parent organizations
